What we collect

We collect what we need to prepare your return: your contact details, the tax information you give us, the documents you upload, and records of how you use the portal such as sign-ins and downloads.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare and file your returns, to bill you, and to answer you. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for advertising.

Sharing

We share your information with the IRS and state tax authorities when we file for you, and with the services that run the portal, such as our payment provider and our email provider. Under Internal Revenue Code section 7216 we will not disclose or use your tax return information for any other purpose without your written consent.

How long we keep it

We keep returns and supporting documents for seven years, then remove them. You can download your copies at any time.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete anything we are not required to keep. Write to mrhodge817@gmail.com.

Security

Documents are encrypted, access is limited to the staff working on your return, and every view is recorded. See our security page for detail.
